Lets bring your vision to life
As the Artist sees you…
personalized paintings offer a deeper connection tailored to your story and wants.
The purchase of this ticket reserves your spot in the 2026-2027 commission calendar.
Once received, I will reach out to you via email within the next 2-3 business days. You can expect a letter from Hannah@hannahrenee.com where we will take the first step to bring your vision to life!
What Does the process look like?
-
Step 1: Share Your Vision
Begin by purchasing your commission reservation ticket. Then, explore the prompts in the Sharing Your Vision section and gather any inspiration that will help communicate your ideas. The more details you share—whether it's colors, emotions, stories, or reference images—the more thoughtfully I can create a painting that reflects your vision.
Step 2: The Creative Process
Once your commission has been accepted into my studio schedule, I'll develop an initial concept sketch for your review and approval. From there, your painting will be brought to life over the course of approximately 4–6 weeks.
Step 3: The Grand Reveal
When your painting is complete, you'll receive its first unveiling. Before it can safely leave the studio, the artwork must cure for approximately 3–4 weeks before receiving its final protective varnish.
Because oil paints cure at different rates depending on the pigments used and the texture of the brushwork, curing times may occasionally be longer. If additional time is needed, I'll keep you updated throughout the process.
Step 4: Welcome Home
Once fully cured and varnished, your original painting will be carefully packaged and shipped directly to your door, ready to become part of your home and story.
-
Bringing your vision to life begins with a conversation. The more you share about your inspiration, the more thoughtfully I can create a painting that feels deeply personal and meaningful. The questions below are designed to help you explore your ideas—there are no right or wrong answers.
What type of painting are you envisioning—portrait, wildlife, abstract, or something else?
Are there any colors or color palettes you're especially drawn to right now?
What feeling or atmosphere would you like this artwork to bring into your home?
Is there a story, milestone, season of life, or transformation you'd like the painting to commemorate or celebrate?
Are there any meaningful symbols or motifs you'd like incorporated into the piece (for example: bees, honeycombs, florals, birds, or other natural elements)?
Which pieces from my portfolio resonate with you most, and what draws you to them?
Do you have any reference images, inspiration photos, or visual ideas you'd like to share?

The first step is purchasing your Commission Reservation Ticket.
A non-refundable $200 reservation deposit secures your place in my commission calendar and is applied toward the total cost of your commissioned painting.
If you choose to cancel your commission before work on your artwork has begun, your reservation deposit will be converted into studio credit.
To help ensure a smooth and enjoyable commission experience, this section outlines my policies on revisions, copyright and reproduction rights, and studio communication.
Last Note
-
The original painting becomes your property upon purchase, and you have the right to display it in your private residence. However, I retain full copyright and all reproduction rights to the artwork.
The purchase or commission of an original painting does not include permission to reproduce, distribute, or commercially use the artwork in any form. This includes, but is not limited to, book covers, posters, prints, merchandise, digital reproductions, or other promotional or commercial applications. Copyright and all intellectual property rights remain with the artist and are not transferred or available for purchase, either in whole or in part.
-
A commissioned painting is a collaborative process that involves open communication and mutual trust between the artist and collector. To ensure the experience is enjoyable and respectful for both of us, I ask that the following guidelines be observed.
I accept only a limited number of commissions each season so that every painting receives my full creative attention and remains a top priority in the studio. If an unexpected delay occurs or the timeline changes, I will keep you informed throughout the process.
To preserve the experience and present the work at its best, progress images will only be shared once the painting has reached a showcase-quality stage. The creation of behind-the-scenes or process videos for social media is entirely at my discretion and is not included as part of the commission service. Commissions also do not include the promotion of individuals, businesses, or brands.
I am committed to maintaining a professional and respectful working relationship. I do not engage in personal discussions, respond to inappropriate requests, or create artwork depicting subjects I find offensive or unsuitable. Harassment, bullying, abusive language, or disrespectful behavior of any kind will not be tolerated. If these boundaries are not respected, I reserve the right to cancel the commission at my discretion.

After the final unveiling of your painting, you are welcome to request one complimentary revision. This may include subtle refinements such as adding an additional glaze to enhance depth, adjusting the overall color harmony, or refining small details.
If additional revisions are requested beyond the complimentary revision, they may be accommodated for an additional fee. Any such fee will be determined on a case-by-case basis, depending on the scope of the requested changes.
