Hannah Renee is an American contemporary artist whose paintings exist between realism and dreamscape, weaving together portraits, wildlife, and landscapes into luminous, story-filled worlds. Her mixed media oil paintings merge technical realism with painterly abstraction, inviting viewers into places where imagination, emotion, and faith coexist. Rooted in a Christian worldview, her work reflects a fascination with God's creation and the quiet beauty woven throughout both the natural world and the human experience.
Growing up in Northeast Arkansas, Renee developed a love for drawing and storytelling from an early age. Drawn equally to the precision of classical painting and the freedom of expressive mark-making, she cultivated a style that blurs the line between observation and imagination. Each painting becomes a visual narrative—one where animals, people, and landscapes intertwine to communicate hope, wonder, and the unseen.
After earning her Bachelor of Science in Art and Illustration from John Brown University, Renee expanded her artistic practice beyond the studio, sharing her creative process through YouTube and social media while building a community centered around encouragement and artistic growth. Her work explores not only the finished painting, but also the journey of becoming an artist, inspiring others to pursue creativity with courage and curiosity.
Whether creating original paintings or new collections, Renee’s practice is guided by a desire to create meaningful work that points toward beauty, truth, and hope. Through each piece, she seeks to celebrate the richness of creation and invite viewers into a world where the familiar becomes extraordinary.
Renee currently lives and works in Northwest Arkansas, where she paints from her studio alongside the Ozark Mountains.
